Analysing website design (Crazy Egg)
We use Crazy Egg, a web analytics service provided by Crazy Egg, Inc. It uses cookies that enable us to analyse your use of our website designs. The process collects and saves data that we use to improve the design and layout of our website. It is a user need focused form of research which includes the collation of heat maps as a way of viewing what works well on the page and what doesn’t work so well. It retrieves the data by tracking mouse clicks on the page.
The data generated by cookies about your use of our website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Crazy Egg server in the USA and stored there. The Judicial Office has an account with Crazy Egg in which they can log in and view information. Whilst Crazy Egg collects the IP address we do not collect any personal data about the user.
Crazy Egg may store data outside the EEA. It adheres to several self-regulatory frameworks and is certified under the EU-US Shield Framework.
Cookies placed by Crazy Egg do not include personally identifiable information such as name, phone number, e-mail address or mailing address, nor does Crazy Egg link cookies to such personally identifiable information in our servers or databases.
